this week’s kai conversation features melissa peterman, an actress, comedian, and television host who has spent her career bringing laughter to audiences across stage and screen. originally from minneapolis, melissa first made her mark on the comedy and improv scene before becoming a familiar face on television. she has starred in beloved series including reba, baby daddy, young sheldon and hallmark’s haul out the holly trilogy movies. she currently stars as gabby in nbc’s happy’s place. when she's not behind the camera, melissa also enjoys hosting and competing on game shows, adding yet another dimension to her vibrant career.

how did you first discover kai?
the first time i tried kai was after i moved to los angeles from minnesota. i remember it was valentines day and my husband went to this great little boutique in our neighborhood and he got me the kai perfume oil.
what do you remember about that first moment you smelled kai?
to me it smelled like california. i came to la to follow my dreams of becoming an actress and this smell smelled like all of those things. i remember thinking, "oh my gosh i need to get more of this" and i would find where the locations were to get it and it just became my scent. people that have known me for a long time they always say that kai smells like melissa, which i love.
kai is the one scent that every time i wear it, somebody will ask me what i'm wearing and they will tell me that i smell good.
do you have any other favorite kai products?
my other favorite kai products are the travel sizes. usually if i'm traveling and i'm at a hotel they have a bigger bath tub, so i love to take a bath with my kai bathing bubbles.
